Mumbai: Vivek Oberoi, whose ‘PM Narendra Modi’ biopic will finally hit theatres on Friday, sparked a controversy by sharing an offensive meme featuring him, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Salman Khan and Aishwarya’s seven-year-old daughter Aaradhya.
Captioning the image, Vivek wrote, “Haha! creative! No politics here….just life.”

Journalist Nidhi Razdan was one of the first people to slam Vivek. In a tweet, she wrote- “Distasteful. Move On Mr. Oberoi.”

Shocked at the objectionable meme, Aishwarya’s Cannes contemporary and Lo’real India co-ambassador Sonam Kapoor Ahuja also called Vivek’s post “disgusting” and “classless.”
