Sonam Kapoor, Anand Ahuja Delhi residence robbed, cash and jewellery worth 1.41cr stolen

Sonam Kapoor’s and Anand Ahuja’s Delhi residence was robbed and cash and jewellery worth Rs 1.41 Crore was stolen.

It is reportedly to be robbed in the month of February and the case was kept under wraps as it was a high profile case.

According to a report by a news channel, Sonam Kapoor’s mother-in-law was the first to run to the Tughlaq Road police station to report the crime at their home.

According to local news channel, Sonam and Anand’s staff are being questioned in the investigations. The report claimed that the Delhi Police is questioning 25 employees besides 9 caretakers, drivers, gardeners and other workers.

Sonam and Anand’s Delhi residence is located at Amrita Shergill Marg in Delhi. Sonam’s father-in-law Harish Ahuja and mother-in-law Priya Ahuja live at the house with Anand’s grandmother Sarla Ahuja. In her complaint, Sarla Ahuja reportedly that she got to know about the theft on February 11 when she checked her cupboards for jewellery and cash. The complaint was lodged on February 23.
