Mumbai: National Award winning actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja will be walking the ramp for designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla for a fashion show, organised by the Cancer Patients Aids Association (CPAA) to raise funds for cancer survivors.
The CPAA is completing 50 years on Sunday and to support it a fashion show is being organised.
“It is an honour and a privilege to be a part of this show. I am a huge believer in using my voice to support social and health issues. The CPAA does outstanding work in the field of providing holistic care to those affected by Cancer,” Sonam said.

“Battling Cancer is a most worthy fight and one which can and must be won. My every good wish for them as they complete 50 years of exceptional service to the cause,” said the ‘Neerja’ actor.
Earlier, Sonam made a dazzling appearance at the Vimal Elaichi 64th Filmfare Awards in Mumbai last night. Sonam aced the red carpet look in fuchsia pink creation by her favourite couturiers, Ralph & Russo. The stunning pink gown looked staright out of a fairytale and symbolised every girl’s dream ensemble.
The silk taffeta sweetheart gown from the designers’ spring/summer 2019 collection features voluminous tiered ruffles at the hem and structured fan back detailing. For the event, Sonam was styled by her sister Rhea Kapoor.
