New Delhi: On the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr on Wednesday, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja received a special gift from her mother-in-law Priya Ahuja.
Sonam, who is married to businessman Anand Ahuja, thanked her mom-in-law for buying her the most beautiful gifts and penned a heartfelt note for her.
The ‘Khoobsurat’ actor posted a picture of herself on Instagram, dressed in a white Anarkali suit with pink and green floral motifs and a traditional Rajasthani bandhani dupatta, coupled with beautiful silver earrings- all gifted by her doting mother-in-law Priya Ahuja.
She captioned the picture saying, “@priya27ahuja thank you for always buying me the most beautiful gifts… new outfit for eid! Love you mom!”

On the work front, the actress had a good start at the box office this year with the path-breaking film ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’. The film won her rare reviews and was applauded by critics for delivering a strong social message to viewers.
The film revolves around a same-sex relationship and shows the struggles of a homosexual woman, trying to find acceptance in the family and society.

Currently, the Neerja actor is gearing up for the release of her next titled ‘The Zoya Factor’. Based on Anuja Chauhan’s novel of the same name, The Zoya Factor revolves around Zoya Singh Solanki, an advertising executive who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job and ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team at the Cricket World Cup. South Hottie Dulquer Salman is playing the captain of the Indian Cricket team in the movie.
‘The Zoya Factor’ is slated for a theatrical release on September 20, 2019.
