The Shark Tank India judges panel recently graced the stage of The Kapil Sharma Show with their presence. Judges Ashneer Grover (BharatPe), Namita Thapar (Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com), Vineeta Singh (SUGAR Cosmetics), Aman Gupta (boAt), Ghazal Alagh (MamaEarth) and Peyush Bansal (Lenskart) made their best anecdotes and with the show’s host Kapil onboard, the fun-filled episode surely made audiences crack up. Amid the laughters, one of the judges, Namita Thapar, made a shocking revelation and said that Amitabh Bachchan ruined her whole life.
Kapil Sharma posted a compilation clip of most funny moments from the show on his official YouTube channel on February 15, 2022. In the video, Kapil Sharma can be heard asking Namita Thapar about her love for the megastar of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan. In her reply the business woman said that Big B has ruined her life, he has set the standard so high for her that she is unable to find someone as perfect as him.
Kapil Sharma told her that she was a die-hard fan of Amitabh Bachchan but he would become her fan after seeing her wealth. Hearing this, Namita laughingly replied, “Bachchan saab ne toh poori meri life hi khatam kar di hai. Unke baad koi doosra pasand hi nahi aaya. (Bachchan sir has ruined my whole life. After him I couldn’t like anyone else.” While everyone went awe in her cutest reply, Kapil as usual gave a witty reply and broke the silence by saying, “Bachchan sahab bohut khus ho gaye honge ye sunke (Bachchan sir will become very happy after hearing this).”
Namita Thapar is the CEO of Emcure Pharmaceuticals and her current net worth is estimated at 600 crores. She has also been a part of Government of India’s entrepreneurship and women empowerment programmes.
Judge Vineeta Singh then said that Anupam Mittal sounds like Amitabh Bachchan on Shark Tank India. On the host’s special request Anupam also showed his talent in the show, and used Big B’s trademark ‘hain’ in his style. Kapil’s keen eyes also marked that Anupam was sitting in Big B’s style from Agneepath movie.
As the show fast forwards, Kapil can also be heard asking the camera to cut off for a minute as he asks the business sharks about investing in opening their own channel. All the of them then raised their hands in for of the idea as Kapil made quite a funny remark when he said, “humne apna idea sunaya, humari equity bhi koi nahi ulta unhone leke, humme tankhwa pe rakh liya hai (We came with the idea and presented it to SonyEntertainment, they didn’t even give us any equity rather took our idea and kept us in a pay scale).”
