Sexual harassment case filed against actor-dancer Salman Yusuff Khan

Mumbai: A sexual harassment case has been filed against popular dancer Salman Yusuf Khan at the Oshiwara Police Station here.

The victim, a dancer herself, alleged that Salman, along with his brother, tried to behave inappropriately with her on two separate occasions.

The victim claimed that Salman “touched her inappropriately” and repeatedly on separate occasions. Later, Salman’s brother too joined him in harassing her.

The frequent molestations grew every passing day and the victim finally lodged a sexual harassment complaint at the Oshiwara Police Station.

Salman Yusuff Khan rose to fame after winning the dance reality show Dance India Dance (season 1). After winning the show, Khan appeared in the title song of Wanted. He then did the music video “Dance Of Death” for the movie Rakta Charitra and in the video Alive (2011). Salman then appeared in the film Sukoon – Vaishali Made. He was also a choreographer in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (season 4, 5 and 6). He has won the 6th season of the reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, with Drashti Dhami. Khan has also acted in the movie ‘ABCD: Anybody Can Dance’, under the direction of Remo D’Souza. Khan is married to Faiza Haramain, his longtime girlfriend.
