Mumbai: Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Love Aaj Kal, which released in 2009, is all set to be revamped into fresh story of today’s time. The film will be directed by Imtiaz Ali who helmed the prequel and will go on floors very soon.
Love Aaaj Kal 2 will have Kartik Aaryan playing the main lead opposite Saif Ali Khan’s daughter and the latest entrant of B-town Sara Ali Khan. Kartik and Sara will be pairing up for the first time ever on the big screen.
Interestingly, Sara and Kartik have been recently making headlines for their friendship after Sara revealed on Koffee With Karan that she would love to date Kartik. Ranveer Singh, who is Sara’s co-star in Simmba, was also spotted introducing the two actors to each other at a recent event.
Ranveer coaxed them to sit together and while Sara was her chirpy and bubbly best, Kartik was blushing throughout. And now, Sara and Kartik have been finalized by ace filmmaker Imtiaz Ali for Love Aaj Kal 2.
