Salman Khan to get Y+ security from Mumbai police following new death threat

The Mumbai Police recently took steps to review Salman Khan’s security after a Facebook account, claiming to belong to Lawrence Bishnoi.

The Mumbai Police recently took steps to review Salman Khan’s security after a Facebook account issued an indirect death threat to the Bollywood actor. The account claimed to belong to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The Facebook post, which featured Bishnoi’s photo as its display picture, warned Salman Khan about his association with Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal and urged him not to rely on Dawood for protection.

The post also mentioned Salman Khan’s response to Sidhu Moosewala’s death, stating that it did not go unnoticed. It hinted at criminal associations and warned Salman Khan that he is now on their radar. The post concluded with a chilling message, advising Salman Khan to flee to any country he wished but emphasizing that death does not require a visa and comes uninvited.

Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently in custody for drugs smuggling case being investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), is allegedly the mastermind behind the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

Upon learning about the threat, the Mumbai police immediately upgraded Salman Khan’s security arrangements to Y+ security. Salman Khan was informed about the potential danger, and authorities are working with Facebook to trace the source of the threat. They are on the search to find details about the account holder and the associated IP address.

Notably, this is not the first time Salman Khan has faced such death threat. Earlier this year, he received an e-mail death threat, supposedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang itself. The e-mail, written in Hindi, referred to an interview given by Lawrence Bishnoi to a news channel. The threat suggested that Salman Khan should have seen it.
