Salman Khan & Sanjay Leela Bhansali to reunite for a love story
Bhubaneswar: Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are set to come together for a love story after 19 years for what may be a 2020 release. Bhansali’s production house made the official statement on Saturday.
Bhansali had made his directorial debut with Salman Khan in 1996 musical love story ‘Khamoshi: The Musical’. They again appeared together in yet another love story ‘Hum Dil Chuke Sanam’ which released in 1999. They last collaborated in his 2007 film ‘Saawariya’ where Khan had a special appearance in the movie.
Bhansali is known to create magic on screen and his ‘Padmaavat’ has garnered praise and accolades from around the world.
There were a lot of speculations about Bhansali’s next project after ‘Padmaavat’, hence, ahead of his birthday; the filmmaker announced his forthcoming directorial with Salman Khan. There were rumours regarding a rift between Bhansali and Salman, but this announcement has put all rumour mills at rest.
The shoot is scheduled to begin once Salman is done with his ‘Bharat’, i.e. likely in the second half of the year. The female lead for the movie is yet to be finalized.
