Mumbai: Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon is all set to play the role of former Prime Minister and legendary leader Indira Gandhi in the sequel of ‘KGF’, which will feature Kannada superstar Yash in the lead role.
“Raveena Tandon is going to play Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and it is very important for the film,” a source close to the project said.
According to reports, the film is going to be a high-budget period drama. It will be directed by Prashanth Neil.
Apart from Yash, Telugu actor Rao Ramesh will also feature in an important role in the ‘KGF’ sequel.
On the work front, Tandon was last seen in the Hindi film ‘Maatr’ (2017) which proved to be a box-office failure.
