Ranbir-Alia’s wedding rituals begins with a mehendi ceremony today
The wedding rituals of Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has began. The Mehendi ceremony is taking place today at Ranbir’s Mumbai apartment Vastu, where the couple lives. Earlier, the sources claimed that all the pre-wedding festivities and Cocktail will happen at RK Studios. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case now.
Current sources claims that starting with today’s mehendi, all the ceremonies will be held at Vastu.
Earlier today, the groom’s side of the family including Ranbir’s mom and veteran actress Neetu Kapoor, his sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, brother-in-law Bharat Sahni, niece Samara were spotted being driven to the venue. The all were clad in beautiful festive attires.
The function is scheduled to take place in afternoon. Neetu Kapoor greeted the paparazzi standing outside the venue with a bright smile and a Namaste. She was dressed in a green festive wear, while Riddhima looked equally stunning in a golden outfit.

The intimate affair will be attended by only close family and friends. Some of Ranbir and Alia’s close friends are expected to visit today. Reportedly, ‘Brahmastra’ director and the couple’s close acquaintance, was spotted at Vastu last night.
The date for Ranbir and Alia’s wedding was scheduled for April 15. However, on Tuesday, Alia’s brother Rahul Bhatt confirmed that the dates have been changed. Now, in a report by NDTV, source close to the family have confirmed that wedding is set to take place at their flat in Vastu building on April 14, 3 pm onwards.
Reportedly, Ranbir and Alia will make official announcement about wedding today.
