Mumbai: Controversy’s favourite child Rakhi Sawant is shooting a movie based on rape convict and self-styled Godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in New Delhi. She is playing Honeypreet Insan, adopted daughter of Ram Rahim Singh, in the movie.
The film “Ab Hoga Insaaf” is a biopic of controversial Godman. It will showcase the lavish lifestyle of Ram Rahim Singh and his journey from Dera Sacha Sauda chief to rape convict. The important part of the movie is the relationship between Honeypreet and Ram Rahim, sources said.
According to reports, Rakhi and her brother Rakesh Sawant are producing the film, directed by Ashutosh Mishra, while Raza Murad is playing the lead role as Ram Rahim Singh.
In real life, Ram Rahim has been awarded 20 years of rigorous imprisonment by a special CBI court on August 28 for raping two of his disciples in 2002. His adopted daughter Honeypreet, with whom he is alleged to have illicit relations, is absconding ever since his conviction.
The movie is scheduled to release between December 2017 to January 2018.
