Bhubhaneswar: Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film “Dil Bechara” will premiere on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar, on July 24. Rajkummar Rao who was Sushant Singh Rajput’s co-star in his debut flick “Kai Po Che” and later on “Raabta”, soon after the announcement on Thursday, shared the poster of the film with a red heart emoji in his social media account.
Earlier, the actor had written “You’ll be missed bhai” in his social media post on the day Sushant Singh Rajput passed away. Now he has taken up the responsibility to promote Sushant’s last film. Netizens were seen thanking Rajkummar Rao for this noble gesture and calling him a “self made star” in the social media platforms.
Meanwhile, fans seem unhappy with the decision to release the film on OTT platform, and they are demanding a theatrical release of the film for quite some time now. They were seen expressing their grievance by sharing various posts across social media.
For nearly 3 months, Indian movie theatres have stayed shut because of the coronavirus lockdown, causing ripples across the film business in the country.
