‘Rajara Rajakumari’ Contest to be held on June 7 in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the upcoming Raja festival, a talent hunt contest titled ‘Rajara Rajakumari’ (Princess of Raja)  will be hosted tomorrow (on June 7, 2019) at the Kelu Charan Mohapatra Auditorium of Jayadev Bhawan in the capital city. The contest will commence at 8 am in the morning to continue till 8 pm.

The contest will be held among girls in two groups, junior and senior. Girls in the age group of 5 (five) to 14 (fourteen) will be enrolled for the junior group while girls in the 15 to 25 age group will contest in the senior group.

After last year’s overwhelming success this is for the second time the contest is being held.

The contestants will have to perform in dance, music, fashion and acting rounds from where the finalists will be chosen.

The winners will be crowned and conferred luring gift coupons. They will also be awarded with Rs 10,000 by RV Industries, said director Amaresh Majhi.

Further, the finalists will also be given chance to work in film, TV serials and advertisements, intimated oganiser Pranay Jethy.

Later, the event will be aired on MBC TV at 8 pm on June 15.

The contest will be judged by renowned Odia film actors Suryamayee, Sreyan, Puja, Pupinder Singh, Smita Panigrahi, Pinky Priyadarshini and Ananyana.

The contest will be hosted by MBC TV in collaboration with Ama TV YouTube Channel.
