Priyanka Chopra shares unseen childhood pic with Nani, Says lucky to have ‘strong maternal figures’
Global sensation Priyanka Chopra is quite active on social media, and has been keeping her fans updated with her posts every now and then. As a part of her ‘Monday Musings’ post, she recently took to her social media to share a throwback picture of her with her maternal grandmother. Due to the time difference, fans in India got to see it on early Tuesday morning.
While sharing the childhood memory of hers with her granny, the actress wrote, “All of 6, celebrating my Nani’s (maternal grandmother) birthday. She helped raise me while my mom and dad balanced studying and medical careers. She was a hugely consistent part of my upbringing.”
She further added to the caption, “I feel so lucky that I had so many strong maternal figures in my life. I’m so grateful for you all. Miss you always Nani.”
In the pictures, baby Priyanka can be seen sitting next to her Nani along with her cousin and mum Madhu Chopra.
