Mumbai: Fans of Prakruti Mishra will be disappointed to learn that her Hindi show ‘Bitti Business Waali’ on &TV will reportedly go off air very soon. As per reports, the show which was launched just 5 months ago is being taken off-air due to poor ratings.

As per a report published in IWM Buzz, although the serial was launched with much fanfare and expectations, it could not do well in terms of numbers. The channel has decided to pull the plug off and has informed the production team about the same.

Starring Odia actress/singer Prakruti Mishra and popular Hindi Telly actor Abhisekh Bajaj in lead roles, Bitti Business Wali’ is about a small town girl who aspires to gain financial independence despite the fact that she is from a conservative family which does not support girls doing jobs or running business.

Despite such a great concept, the show did not generate high TRP ratings. Hence, &TV has decided to pull the plug off the show. Reportedly, the same has been conveyed to the production team of ‘Bitti Business Wali’.

The show had generated huge buzz in Odisha due to Prakruti’s immense popularity here. Interestingly, ‘Bitti Business Wali’ is her third Hindi show. Earlier in May this year, the actress had received a Special Mention Award at the 65th National Film Awards in Delhi for her performance in the critically acclaimed film ‘Hello Arshi’. The actress had received praises for her acting from veteran filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, who was also a jury member.
