PM Modi wishes Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan on his 54th birthday, praises his impact and governance efforts recently.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan on his 54th birthday, stating that he has left an indelible mark on many individuals. On X, PM Modi hailed Kalyan for strengthening the NDA in Andhra Pradesh with good governance and wished him well for a long and healthy life.
The “Power Star” Pawan Kalyan has come a long way from being an actor to a politician. Born on September 2, 1971, he developed a huge fan base in the Telugu movie industry with blockbusters such as Tholi Prema, Kushi, Gabbar Singh, and Attarintiki Daredi. His foray into politics was also a huge success, with his Jana Sena Party emerging as a powerful ally of the TDP and BJP.
In June 2024, Kalyan was sworn in as Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister, overseeing the all important portfolios of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, and Environment. As head of the Jana Sena Party, the Jana Sena did very well in the recent election, with Kalyan also winning the Pithapuram seat by a significant margin. PM Modi’s birthday wish also shows the growing political influence of Kalyan in Andhra Pradesh politics.
