Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. The royal style kick-started with pre-wedding ceremony including a sangeet followed up by mehendi ceremony today. Priyanka and Nick today got married as per the Christian traditions and the official pictures from their mehendi ceremony are finally out.
In the pictures, Priyanka is seen in a custom multi-coloured lehenga choli and Nick looked ever bit of the Indian groom in an aqua blue kurta pyjama- both by designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Priyanka Chopra wrote, “One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed.”
The couple will tie the knot as per the Hindu traditions tomorrow, in presence of their friends and family.
