One of the most watched Television series Pavitra Rishta is all set to air it’s second season from September 15.
The first season that aired from 2009 to 2014 was very popular among the fans, which has increased expectations from the second season. While Ankita became a household name after this show, late Sushant Singh Rajput also gained fame for his lead role as Manav in the serial.
However, Shaheer Sheikh has stepped in for the role of Manav in the second season of the show and the character of Archana will still be played by the viewer’s favourite Ankita Lokhande.
This is the first time for both the actors to share the same screen space. The story line is reportedly very simple; how two kindred soul are separated by their family and the two face all kinds of hardships just to be together. The on-screen chemistry between Shaheer and Ankita will hopefully leave a mark on the aundience’s mind. Archana and Manav have managed to make netizens believe in love before therefore, the second season is expected to bring the same definition of love alive once again.
Ankita’s character Archana is defined as ‘aaj ki ladki’, but still fights for her love and tries to convince her family that Manav is the right choice for her. Shaheer’s Manav is a simple and sincere person who gradually falls in love with Archana.
Shaheer reportedly said to Pinkvilla that Manav is the purest character he has ever played.
