Internet has been inundated with two videos of Panchayat actor Raghubir Yadav using a lauki as a musical instrument.
Actor Punit Tiwari posted a video of the veteran actor playing the strange instrument on Facebook on Monday. Lauki is now a musical instrument, Tiwari tweeted alongside the video, which was apparently captured during Yadav’s birthday celebrations.
In the video, we can see veteran actor, Raghubir Yadav, who is known for his comic role in the Panchayat web series using a lauki ‘bottle gourd’ to play music. It is clear that Yadav altered the common vegetable by attaching a pipe that is used to make music through the lips. Additionally, the hollowed-out vegetable has perforations that can be operated with the fingers.
The same video was also uploaded by Raghubir Yadav to his Instagram account, along with the caption “Made a new Musical Instrument on my Bday -Low-key.” It received more than 7,600 likes.
Notably, Lauki has an unusual relationship to Raghubir Yadav’s most recent blockbuster web series Panchayat, which is available on Amazon Prime Video. In the drama-comedy, Raghubir Yadav portrays Brij Bhushan Dubey, a key figure. His persona frequently appears giving a lauki as a token of affection to his close friends and colleagues.
