On birthday-eve; Salman Khan bitten by snake, rushed to hospital

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was rushed to the hospital at 3′ am at night after being bitten by a non-venomous snake.

The incident took place on early Sunday morning at Salman’s Panvel farmhouse. He was then rushed to MGM hospital at Kamothe for treatment and was discharged at 9 am today.

The snake bit the actor’s hand, but reportedly he is better now.

He was given an anti-venom medicine and kept under observation for a few hours at the hospital before being allowed to go home.

The actor went to his lavish farmhouse to celebrate his birthday like he does every year. There is a probability that he might throw a close-knit party tonight.

Sources close to the family said that the star’s Panvel getaway home, where the Khan clan spends quality time, especially during long weekends or in the festive season, is said to be populated with snakes.

A couple of years ago, a cobra was seen slithering around, but there has been no untoward incident,
