Cuttack: Cuttack based Odia girl Riyana Sukla has acted in the recently released Sarman Joshi starrer Bollywood film ‘Kashi In Search of Ganga’. The film was released yesterday. Earlier the gorgeous actor had appeared in Hindi films ‘Life Ki Aisi Ki Taisi’, ‘Mr MBA’ and ‘Lucknowi Ishq’ in lead roles. She will be seen playing the leading lady in upcoming Hindi films ‘Face To Face’ and ‘Jatt Batallion’. And when it comes to Odia film she has two films in the pipeline: ‘Tu Achhu Ta Mu Achhi’ and ‘E Dil Tate Deli’.
“My character is the witness to a murder for which the protagonist (Sharman Joshi) gets imprisonment in the film,” Riyana said about her character. “I enjoyed the shoot and all the artistes were much co-operative,” she added.
Although the film has not received cheering reviews Riyana’s friends in Odisha intimated that her screen time and performance is noticeable in the film.

The actress was lately in news as she was featured in the cover page of the international fashion magazine ‘Splash’.
