Non bailable warrant issued against Sonakshi Sinha in Rs 37 lakh fraud case

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has landed herself in legal trouble after a non-bailable warrant issued against her in a fraud case. The FIR filed against the actress alleges that she had charged Rs 37 lakh to attend an event in Delhi and then refused to show up.

Reportedly, the event organizer, Pramod Sharma, planned for an event in which Sonakshi was invited as the Chief Guest. However, the actress failed attend the event, after which Pramod asked for his money back.

The event organizer alleges that Sonakshi’s manager refused to pay back the money, following which he even tried to contact the actress. When he could not reach her after several attempts as well as did not get his money back, the victim filed a complaint of fraud against the ‘Dabangg’ actress.

As per the reports, following the FIR Sonakshi visited Moradabad to record her statement in the case. But due to her continuous absence thereafter, now the court has issued a non bailable warrant against the her in the fraud case.

On work front, Sonakshi is prepping for her next flick ‘Double XL’ where she will be seen co-starring Huma Qureshi in the lead roles. Apart from this, she also has ‘Kakuda’ with Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem in her kitty.
