Anubhav on Padmavati issue

Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor and Rajya Sabha MP Anubhav Mohanty was all in support of Padmavati director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and actress Deepika Padukone, amidst the controversy to stall the movie release.

At an event in Bhubaneswar, the leading actor of Ollywood told www.kalingatv.com that the protests over the movie Padmavati are uncalled for and people should wait for the censor board to take a decision.

“As an actor and filmmaker, I have a lot of respect for the Censor Board. If the movie has some issues in it, let the Board take a call to either show it with cuts or completely reject it. But, no one should try to take law and order in their own hands,” the actor said.

Anubhav is currently working on his first Bollywood project, titled ’50 Days.’

“We were supposed to begin work for the project from November but due to my pre-commitments, we have postponed it to next month. The movie is about the Blue Whale Game and we are quite hopeful it will send across a good message upon its release.
