Newly wed couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa pose with Haryana CM
Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa who got married in a dreamy ceremony on Monday, later hosted a grand reception in Chandigarh on the same night. The guest list of the party included Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar among others.
The couple tied the nuptial knot after 11 years of ‘love and friendship.’
Khattar took to his Twitter account last night to share a picture with the newly married couple and congratulated them by writing, “Chandigarh mein Bollywood k prasidh abhineta Rajkummar Rao aur Patralekhaa k vivaah samagroh mein shaamil ho kar var-vadhu ko aasirvaad aur safal vaivahik jivan ki subhkamnayein di (Attended the wedding ceremony of famous Bollywood actors Rajkumar Rao and Patralekhaa in Chandigarh and gave the bride and groom blessings and wished them a successful married life).”

On the reception party, Patralekhaa looked gorgeous in cream silk saree from Sabyasachi’s collection and complimented the look with heavy gold and green emerald jewellery and a beautifully printed shawl. Rajkummar on the other hand looked dapper in a black tuxedo and a bow tie.
Earlier, the ‘City Lights’ actors individually took to their Instagram to announce about the marriage. Rajkummar wrote, “Finally after 11 years of love, romance, friendship and fun, I got married to my everything today, my soulmate, my best friend, my family. Today there is no greater happiness for me than being called your husband Patralekha,” while sharing a picture from their marriage. Patralekhaa too shared the same picture and wrote, “I got married to my everything today; my boyfriend, my partner in crime, my family, my soulmate…My best friend for the last 11 years! There is no greater feeling than to be your wife! Here’s to our forever…”
Ms Kalinga
