Mumbai: Actress Kate Sharma has filed a Police Complaint against Ace-filmmaker Subhash Ghai for sexual harassment. The complaint comes in the wake of the MeToo campaign kickstarted in India by actress and former Miss India Tanushree Dutta who has accused Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct on the sets of ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’ in 2008.

Besides Kate, another anonymous twitter user has also accused Ghai of rape. The woman alleged that the director spiked her drink and then sexually assaulted her. However, Ghai denied these allegations and called them baseless.

Interacting with media after filing the complaint, Kate Sharma said, “We were friends, but he spoiled things between us…I never expected this thing from such a legend.”

However, the filmmaker has straightly rejected all these accusations and said, “As I hear some allegation made against me in the air from section of media. It’s very sad that it’s becoming a fashion to malign anyone known, bringing some stories from past without any truth or half-truth, if at all. I deny strictly and firmly all false allegations like these.”

Interestingly, Subhash Ghai along with many high-profile names in Bollywood like Alok Nath, Sajid Khan, Vikas Bahl, Luv Ranjan, Piyush Mishra and Bhushan Kumar have been accused of sexual misconduct by several women in the wake of #MeToo campaign which has taken Bollywood by storm.
