“KGF: Chapter-2” breaks records set by ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and ‘Baahubali – 2’

The most anticipated Yash starrer movie of the year, KGF: Chapter-2, is smashing all box office records and is on the verge of creating history. Earlier, the Hindi version of the film set a new record by collecting Rs. 53.95 crore in it’s first day only. With this the film broke the record of S.S. Rajamouli’s “Baahubali: The Conclusion” opening collection.

Not only did the movie had a grand opening but it is also receiving amazing reviews. Along with Yash, Sanjay Dutt, and Raveena Tandon’s acting are well appreciated by the audience.

Meanwhile, the movie has also removed the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Avengers: Endgame’ from the list of grand opening collections. The Prashanth Neel’s epic film began owning records ever since its advance bookings opened online. With this it has now taken the top position by selling around 2.9 million tickets (in advance).

KGF-2 hit the big screens on April 14th across 10,000 screens in India with over 50,000 shows on the first day.

As per the sources, so far KGF 2 has collected Rs. 130-140 crore, combining it’s release in all language, at the Indian box office. The movie is written and directed by Prashanth Neel and is produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under the Hombale Films banner. With KGF: Chapter-1 being a hit, fans were eagerly waiting for its second part. However, April 15 being a partial holiday, Good Friday, the film (especially its Hindi version) faced a positive response in ticket sales.
