Katrina Kaif To Play A Pakistani Dancer In Remo D’Souza’s Next

Mumbai: As per latest reports, Remo D’Souza has roped in Katrina Kaif and Varun Dhawan for the third instalment of his dance film franchise ABCD. Touted as one of the biggest dance films of Bollywood, the project is in its pre-production stage and is produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series.

While Varun Dhawan will play a dancer from India, Katrina will be seen portraying the role of a Pakistani dancer in the film. Both the characters will cross paths in course of the story at an international dance competition in London.

The shooting of the project will commence in January 2019 and is expected to hit cinemas on November 8, 2019. Besides Varun and Katrina, the film also stars Parbhudeva, Dharmesh Yelande, Raghav Juyal and Punit Pathak.

On the work front, Katrina is gearing up for her next film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ which will release on Diwali. The actress has some top-notch projects in her kitty including Aanand L Rai’s Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma and Salman Khan’s Bharat.

Varun, on the other hand, is basking in the success of his last release ‘Sui Dhaaga’. He is currently shooting for Dharma Productions’ Kalank in Leh alongside Kunal Kemmu and Alia Bhatt.
