Kartik Aaryan finally opens up on fallout with Karan Johar over Dostana 2

Earlier this year, filmmaker Karan Johar’s banner Dharma Productions officially announced that Kartik Aryan will no longer star in Dostana 2 due to creative differences. Later, both Karan and Kartik, held back from commenting on this matter. However, the actor has finally opened up over the rumours about him circulating around this matter, as it has deeply affected his family members.

In a recent interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Kartik said that he is more worried about his family as this effects them deeply. They don’t belong to the world, that is why maybe he can manage not being bothered by this as long as he concentrates in his work but his family members gets affected and that is the only thing that worries him the most, he added to his statement.

During the conversation, the actor admitted that he started doing films for money considering his financial situation. He then said that although one must make decisions keeping the future in mind and he has never compromised on his work ethics but he would’ve made different choices if he had options.

Earlier, several reports suggested that Karan had to remove Kartik from the movie due to his unprofessional behaviour. It was also said that the ‘Dhamaka’ actor had an ugly fallout with co-star Janhvi Kapoor, which reportedly ended their friendship in January. Both the actors were not in talking-terms and therefore asked makers to drop Janhvi from the film. This made Karan make a tough call to drop Kartik out of this film and find his replacement.

When asked about Akshay Kumar as Kartik’s replacement in the film, Karan said, “My lips are sealed. Will announce soon.” He then cleared the rumours of Janhvi and Laksh Lalvani being replaced and said that they are very much part of the film.
