Kareena Kapoor stuns as cop in ‘Angrezi Medium’

Mumbai: Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan looks anything but stunning in her new avatar as a cop. The new avatar is for her upcoming movie Angrezi Medium.

The makers of Angrezi Medium unveiled Kareena’s look from the film. In the post, Kareena can be seen as a cop who is dressed in casuals, with minimal makeup and a badge clipped to her waist.

Angrezi Medium marks the comeback of Irrfan Khan on the big screen. Khan took a brief break as he was seeking treatment for neuroendocrine tumour. His comeback film also stars Radhika Madan who plays his daughter.

Deepak Dobriyal and Manu Rishi play Irrfan’s brother and cousin, respectively, in the film. The trio run sweet shops and are rivals to each other. Angrezi Medium is the sequel to the 2017 hit film Hindi Medium.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor also completed 19 years in the film industry. She has come a long way since her debut in Refugee opposite Abhishek Bachchan.

Kareena confessed to India Today that she “did not want to miss the opportunity to be working with Irrfan Khan. That box needed to be ticked in my career that I had the pleasure of working with him whether it is two scenes or three or more.”

Angrezi Medium will hit the screens on April 25 next year.
