Kapil Sharma show to be replaced by India’s laughter Challenge, To be Judged by Archana Puran Singh and Sekhar Suman

India’s biggest comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show, is all set to take a break from television from the upcoming month. The team of the show will be travelling to US for a tour and hence the break. Replacing India’s biggest comedy show will be a new comedy show titled, ‘India’s Laughter Champion’.

Uniting as judges for the show will be Archana Puran Singh and Sekhar Suman. The show will mark the comeback for Sekhar Suman on the silver screen after a huge time gap. The judge-duo have already shared the stage on shows like Comedy Circus and The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.

According to sources, the channel did not wish to lose its loyal fan base. Along with airing the old episodes of TKSS, the channel also wanted to provide the audience with fresh entertaining content. With no stand-up comedy show currently on air, it was decided to launch one. If reports are to be believed, the team has already found some talented artists for the show.

Getting Archana on board was no difficult decision taken. The channel decided to play on the nostalgia-card by taking Sekhar Suman into the loop.

The promo of the show has already been launched on the channel’s official Instagram handle.

It seems the show is going to be a similar one to ‘The great India Laughter Challenge’. The show might as well introduce some of the best comedians to the country.

Sharing a BTS from the promo shoot, Sekhar Suman posted a video where he could be seen getting ready inside his vanity. He captioned his post as, “Lights, Sound, Camera & Loads of Action… Wait for it,”
