Kangana Ranaut files FIR after receiving death threats; deets inside

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has recently filed a complaint at a police station in Himachal Pradesh after receiving death threats over her post on farm law protestors.

The actress took to her Instagram account today to inform about the same to her followers.

On her post, she shared a picture of the FIR and wrote in Hindi, “While remembering the martyrs of the Mumbai terrorist attack I wrote that traitors should never be forgiven or forgoten. In this type of incident, there is always hands of the internal traitors of the country. In the greed of money, and sometimes for position and power, these traitors never left a single opportunity to tarnish Mother India by helping the anti-national forces by conspiring. I am getting constant threats from disruptive forces on this very post of mine. A brother of Bathinda has openly threatened to kill me. I am not afraid of this type of threats.”

She added to her statement that she has registered an FIR with the police againts the threats, and she hopes that the Punjab government will soon take actions against it. She believes that the country is paramount for her and that she is acceptable only if she makes sacrifice for this. But she is neighter afraid today nor will ever be to speak her mind in the interest of the country. “I will keep speaking openly against the traitors.”

On her statement, she also requested interim Congress president Sonia Gandhi to command the Punjab government to take action on this matter.

According to Kangana, the alleged threats are in the light of the upcoming elections in Punjab.

For those unversed, Kangana Ranaut took to her social media to protes against the farm laws that Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced. In her post she called the farmers’ protests as a Khalistani movement and put up Instagram stories calling India a “Jihadist Nation.”
