Mumbai: According to latest reports, John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi have been finalised by filmmaker Sanjay Gupta’s for his upcoming project. The film will be a gangster drama set in the ’80s and ’90s, inspired by real events that changed the face of Mumbai.
The project is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series. Apparently, John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi will be playing the two central characters in the story.
Although there has been no official confirmation regarding the casting of John and Emraan in the film, rumour has it that Sanjay Gupta is planning to make an announcement soon.
It is being said that the film is slated to go on the floors in the next two months. While John has previously worked with Sanjay in Shootout at Wadala(2013), this will be Emraan’s first collaboration with John and director Sanjay Gupta.
