Iifa 2022: Salman khan breaks down as he recalls his struggling day, says Suniel Shetty bought him shirt he couldn’t afford

Bollywood megastar Salman Khan opened up about his struggling days on the stage of Iifa 2022. He couldn’t hold his emotion and choked as he revealed how actor Suniel Shetty gifted him a shirt that he couldn’t afford.

Although it seems like coming from a star family it would had been easier for the star to make it to the entertainment industry, it actually isn’t filled with all sunshine and roses. During the show, host Maniesh Paul asked Salman to reveal one of the most emotional moment of his life. Being a sport, the star got up from his seat and went up to the stage to share something about his past.

He began his tale by thanking Boney Kapoor for a comeback with Wanted. He hugged the filmmaker at the event and said that Boney helped him throughout his life. “When my career hit a rough patch, Boney Kapoor gave me a film called Wanted. After that he gave me another film No Entry which marked the comeback of ‘Anil Kapoor’ said the superstar.

Continuing his speech he spoke about the days when his finances were not strong and he wasn’t able to afford clothes and shoes of his choice. Henceforth he recalled how Suniel Shetty came to his aid and bought him goodies that he couldn’t afford. However, Salman could hardly hold back his tears as he praised the ‘Dhadkan’ actor and moved to his seat to hug him.

“When I didn’t have any money, actor Suniel Shetty had a shop called Mischief and I was eyeing a pair of stone wash jeans, boots, and a purse. I knew I couldn’t afford it because I didn’t have money. But Anna saw my eyes and decided to gift me what I yearned.” Salman said.
