Butter is BTS’s second English song which was released on May 2021 and gained popularity as the most viewed music video on YouTube within just 24 hours of its release. It has also been the longest-leading hit of the year by topping its nine weeks victory as No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

The K-Pop band’s label Bighit Entertainment also put out an official note on its twitter page with the caption, “Yes, ‘Butter’ is back!”

The revamped version of the song featuring Megan Thee Stallion is set to release on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 1 P.M (KST). Fans of both the artists have been eagerly waiting for the song to release, in the midst of which some BTS Armies brought to light how they remember Jin hinting towards the collab on their live sessions earlier.

The announcement of the song release was made hours after the court granted Megan permission to release her remix of BTS’ ‘Butter’. According to the sources, a judge ruled that the star is clear to release the track, the remix on which she is featured after she alleged that her record label is preventing the song’s release.
