First Look Posters Of ‘Coolie No. 1’ Starring Varun Dhawan & Sara Ali Khan

Mumbai: The first look posters of ‘Coolie No. 1’ starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan are finally out. Filmmaker David Dhawan is remaking his 1995 film ‘Coolie No. 1’, with son Varun and Sara, who would reprise the roles of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor respectively.

In the posters, Varun is dressed in a traditional railway porter’s costume and sports the iconic ‘Coolie No 1’ badge on his forearm. On the other hand, Sara looks very glamorous on her part- sporting a body-hugging, shimmery dress in one of the posters.

Sara Ali Khan, who celebrated her 24th birthday on Monday, shared the poster with a birthday wish for herself: “Happy Birthday to me.”

Noteworthy, the original ‘Coolie No 1’ revolved around a matchmaker (Sadashiv Amrapurkar), who wishes to take revenge on a landlord Hoshiyar Chand (Kader Khan), as he had once humiliated him. He gets a coolie (Govinda) to pretend to be a rich man and gets him married off to Hoshiyar’s daughter Malti (Karisma Kapoor).

‘Coolie No 1’ is all set to hit screens on May 1, 2020.
