Fatima Sana Sheikh May Play Female Lead Opposite SRK In ‘Salute’

Mumbai: Actress Fatima Sana Sheikh is one of the most talented girls among the younger generation of actresses. Just two films old, Fatima has managed to impress the biggest of actors and directors with her work. She stunned audiences and critics alike with her brilliant acting chops in ‘Dangal’ besides putting up a great show in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ which failed to create magic at the box office.

If latest reports are anything to go by, Fatima is one of the top contenders to play the female lead in ‘Salute’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan. ‘Salute’ is all set to go on floors next month. 

Reports suggest that the makers of ‘Salute’ liked her work and she is a leading contender for the role. Recently, the actress had also admitted that she was dying to work with Shah Rukh Khan, and that being around him makes her nervous.

‘Salute’, based on the life of astronaut Rakesh Sharma, will feature King Khan Shah Rukh in the titular role. It is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
