Mumbai: Although Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar have never spoken openly about their relationship, their PDA and cheeky banter on social media confirms that the two are head-over-heels in love with each other.
Recently, Farhan posted a picture with his kids and Shibani celebrating the New Year together. As per reports, the couple is considering taking their relationship to the next level as they feel the connection is strong enough.
A source close to the couple told a leading tabloid, “They are extremely serious about each other and Farhan’s kids have also warmed up to Shibani, so this looks like the most obvious step for the two.”
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are frequently spotted together these days as speculation about them marrying grows. They were recently spotted at the Soho House restaurant in Mumbai on Friday.
Speculation about their rumoured relationship picked up in September last year when Shibani posted a picture of a man on Instagram, which resembled Farhan. Later, Akhtar confirmed it was him with his own version of the picture.
Before dating Shibani Dandekar, Farhan was married to hair stylist Adhuna Bhabani for 16 years. The couple, who got divorced in 2016, have two daughters, Shakya and Akira.
On the work front, Farhan is busy shooting for Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’ alongside Priyanka Chopra and Zaira Wasim.
