Mumbai: Junior dream girl of bollywood Esha Deol, who is pregnant with her first child, is all set to re-marry husband Bharat Takhtani at her baby shower on Thursday, as part of their family ritual of ‘God Bharai.’
Esha and Bharat will be taking three pheras instead of seven and the marriage ceremony will be performed by a Sindhi priest.
A mehndi function with the women singing and dancing to folk songs will also be held for which only family members and close friends have been invited.
The traditional baby shower ceremony is set on a color-laden celebratory theme where the family has organized a Chappan Bhog ritual for Lord Krishna.
According to a source, Neeta Lulla, who has had a long association with both Esha and her actress mother Hema Malini, has designed the outfit of the bride and the groom for the occasion.
The actress married Bharat, a businessman, on June 29, 2012. She is the elder daughter of star Bollywood couple Hema Malini and Dharmendra. She started her acting career in a lead role with Vinay Shukla’s Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe (2002) opposite Aftab Shivdasani. She was featured in over 25 movies in different languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
