Mumbai: South superstar Dhanush was recently in Mumbai to unveil the trailer of his Hollywood film ‘The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir’.
The actor had debuted in the 2013 film Raanjhanaa which also starred Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film went on to be the biggest hit of the year, grossing more than 100 crore at the box office.

On being questioned about why he is not working in Bollywood and whether he has any projects in the pipeline, Dhanush replied that he is working in Aanand L Rai next. The actor even went and met the director post the press conference. Dhanush and Aanand posed for the paparazzi making their collaboration rather official.
After the super-successful ‘Raanjhanaa’, Dhanush was seen in ‘Shamitabh’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Akshara Hasan. However, the film failed to impress the audiences and performed below-average at the ticket window.
