Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has opened up on her post covid journey and time spent during the lockdown.

Speaking to a leading portal, the actress said that she thinks the first lockdown was very different as all of them were trying to understand how to navigate their lives around the whole pandemic.

In lockdown two, however, everyone in her family, including her, suffered with COVID at the same time.

She further added to her statement that life after Covid changed for because physically she was unable to recognise herself. “I think (due to) the medication I was given, the steroids that I was put on. So Covid in itself was weird, your body feels different, your mind feels different. I felt that when I had the illness it was still okay but after that, I needed to take two months off work because my mind wasn’t working. The phase for me was very, very difficult,” the actress stated.

Deepika has always shared positive vibes through her posts on social media. Therefore, when someone like her expresses the dark sides of their life it comes out surprising.

On work front, Deepika is all set to release her upcoming film ‘Gehraiyaan’ on February 11. Directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Johar, the film also stars Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi on lead roles.
