Mumbai: The crime branch has recovered nearly 70 videos shot by businessman Raj Kundra’s former PA Umesh Kamat with the help of different production houses, said sources.

The police will send the server for forensic analysis to know whether Raj Kundra had used it to upload pornographic material to his UK-based shell company Kinrin, added sources.

So far, Mumbai Police has frozen Rs 7.21 crore in different people’s bank account in connection with Raj Kundra. He has been receiving regular payments, amounting to Rs 9.65 lakh, in his bank account from a porn app that was named in the racket busted by Mumbai Police earlier this year.

Earlier on Wednesday, model-actress Poonam Pandey said that she had filed a complaint against Kundra in 2019 for fraud. She had complained that her videos were being used illegally even after the contract with her had ended.

Poonam had also made a statement that following the disagreement her number and some images were leaked. This resulted in her getting calls that were derogatory in nature.

A latest report alleged that Kundra was avoiding arrest by bribing Rs 25 lakh.

However, Kundra and one more person named Ryan Tharp have been sent to police custody till July 23.
