Sukesh Chandrashekhar, the imprisoned conman, has penned a touching letter to Jacqueline Fernandez, stating that he named a lily and tulip garden in Bali after her mother, the late Kim Fernandez. In the tearful letter, Sukesh laments Kim’s death, claiming she’s “with us, in us, around us as our Guardian Angel.” He complains of his own pain, indicating that Kim’s death has been hard for him to swallow, particularly because he had become attached to her within a short time.

Sukesh says he had a special prayer mass arranged for Kim’s welfare at the Vatican and has given Jacqueline a personal garden in Bali, in her mother’s name. The garden, “Kim’s Garden,” has lily and tulip flowers, Sukesh says were her favorite flowers. Sukesh invites Jacqueline to go to the garden with her father, and he hopes that she will experience her mother there.

Jacqueline’s mother, Kim Fernandez, died earlier this month after being admitted to Lilavati Hospital with a heart stroke. Kim, who was Malaysian and Canadian by origin, will be greatly missed by her family. Jacqueline’s father, Elroy Fernandez, is of Sri Lankan origin. The actress had missed the IPL ceremony in Guwahati last month because of her mother’s poor health.

Sukesh’s letters to Jacqueline have raised eyebrows, considering their complex history. The conman, who has been behind bars since 2015, professes to be dating Jacqueline, but she has staunchly denied the claims. Sukesh allegedly tricked her into thinking that he was a genuine businessman and even threatened her, according to Jacqueline. Even after this, Sukesh keeps reiterating his love and care for Jacqueline and tells her, “Baby, be strong, Mom is with us, now Dad is our priority.”
