Clash Between Salman Khan’s ‘Inshallah’ & Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ Averted

Mumbai: The news of Salman Khan’s Inshallah clashing with Rohit Shetty’s Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ on Eid 2020 had created a huge uproar in the industry.

However, the makers have put to rest what could have been one of the biggest box office clashes ever.

Salman Khan on Wednesday took to his social media handles to announce that Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ will hit the screens on March 27, 2020.

Calling Rohit Shetty his younger brother, Salman shared an adorable picture and wrote, “I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it… #RohitShetty Sooryavanshi releasing on March 27, 2020.”

Noteworthy, Salman Khan’s ‘Inshallah’ is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and marks their reunion after 19 years. Bhansali had last directed Salman in the 1999 film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’.

In the film, Alia Bhatt will be playing the female lead opposite Khan.

On the other hand, Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of an ATS officer in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’. The film will see the ‘Padman’ actor reuniting with Katrina Kaif nearly after a decade.
