Though the actress is yet to make an appearance at the Cannes Red Carpet, she has set the temperature soaring by sharing some of her pictures from the French Riviera.
For her day out at Cannes, Sonam Kapoor opted for a red multi-layered Valentino gown with ruffled sleeves. The actress sported tousled hair which was adorned with beautiful white flowers. The look was completed with an equally stunning pair of red stilettos.
Sonam was later seen in a breathtaking purple gown with an extravagant bow and a cape, by Lebanese designer Elie Saab. Her hair was styled in a ponytail and she accessorised her gown with diamond earrings by Chopard jewellery.
For her third appearance, Sonam transformed into an ‘Indian Maharani’. The actress wore a sequin embellished body-hugging number from Indian ace designers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
The outfit exudes a royal elegance with a matching scarf around Sonam’s hand, making her look like a goddess. The accessories were kept simple with just a statement diamond necklace and diamond solitaire.
Noteworthy, this is Sonam’s 10th year at Cannes as the Indian ambassador of French cosmetic brand L’Oreal Paris. Ever since the actress arrived in France, she has been keeping her fans updating with pictures and videos on Instagram. After reaching Cannes, the actress posted a short video on Instagram that read “Bonjour De Cannes!”
After mesmerising fans with her elegant fashion choices at the French Riviera, it will be interesting to see how Sonam sets the fashion ball rolling at the Cannes red carpet this year.
