Brahmastra new poster unveils Mouni Roy’s character “Junoon – The Queen Of Darkness”
The most anticipated movie of the year ‘Brahmastra’ is inching toward its release on September 9, 2022. Ahead of its trailer, makers have shared the first-look poster of Mouni Roy. The movie stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead, whereas Mouni will play the role of Junoon – Queen of darkness.
The posters unveil Mouni’s character to have red eyes and vicious looks. The ‘Naagin’ actress took to her Instagram account to share the motion poster along with a caption that read, “After 5 years of anticipation, the possibility is now a reality.”
“Meet the leader of the Dark Forces… our Mysterious Queen of Darkness… Junoon! Watch out for Junoon in our Trailer tomorrow!” Mouni further wrote.
Brahmastra’s director Ayan Mukerji too shared the poster on his social media account. He captioned the post, “A lot of people, I think, are going to walk out of Brahmastra, talking about Mouni’s Performance as Junoon. Moun – who has deep belief and deep surrender for Lord Shiva – has always understood Brahmastra very naturally – and with that understanding, she really killed it with her part in our movie! In my first meeting with her, I offered her a ‘special appearance’ in Brahmastra. Eventually, she shot with us from our first day to our last schedule, and is really, the surprise package in the film!”
Alia Bhatt as well took to her Gram to share the poster along with a note that read, “Meet Junoon! Our Mysterious Queen of Darkness. BRAHMĀSTRA TRAILER OUT TOMORROW.”

The three-part film franchise begins with the first part titled, “Shiva.” Meanwhile, on Monday, Ayan announced Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi’s collaboration for the movie.
