BMC sanitises KJo’s building after Kareena Kapoor and others tested COVID positive at his dinner party
Mumbai: Bollywood actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrita Arora, Maheep Kapoor and Seema Khan has been tested covid positive. The incident took place after the three attended a dinner party at filmmaker Karan Johar’s residence. Today, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation staff reached his building to sanitize the area.
Earlier on Tuesday, the BMC also sanitized and sealed the buildings of Kareena and Amrita, as per safety precautions set by the state government. All the members present in the party will also be conducting RT-PCR COVID-19 tests at their residence to ensure the COVID-19 protocols.
BMC had claimed that Kareena and Amrita had been flouting COVID-19 norms from a long time and attending parties despite testing positive for the deadly virus. It is after they found that Bebo is COVID positive, her official spokesperson gave a clarification and said on Monday that she had contracted the virus at a private dinner recently.
Later, the actress shared on social media and wrote, “I have tested positive for Covid. I immediately isolated myself while following all medical protocols. I request anyone who has come in contact with me to please get tested. My family and staff are also double vaccinated. They are currently not showing any symptoms. Thankfully, I am feeling ok and hope to be up and about soon.”
