Ayushmann Khurrana & Vicky Kaushal Receive Bouquet From Amitabh Bachchan For National Award Win

Mumbai: Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal won the Best Actor Award at the National Awards 2019 for their films ‘Andhadhun’ and ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ respectively. As soon as the news broke out, congratulatory messages started pouring in for the young actors.

Amitabh Bachchan, who is known to appreciate new talent in the industry that catches his eye, recently sent a bouquet with a note to both the actors to congratulate them on their success. Ayushmann and Vicky took to social media to thank Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan for their love.

While Vicky wrote, “This means the world to me! Thank you Bachchan sir and Jaya mam.” Ayushmann’s thank you caption read, “Iss sadi ke mahanayak se jab aapko rashtriya puraskar milne ki uplabdhi par prashansa milti hai toh wo rashtriya puraskar se kum nahi hoti. Dhanyawad Amitabh sir Jaya ma’am.”

On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana is gearing up for the release of ‘Dream Girl’ which also stars Nusrat Bharucha. Besides, Ayushmann will also be seen in ‘Bala’ and ‘Gulabo Sitabo’.

On the other hand, Vicky will star in the biopic on Shaheed Udham Singh, a revolutionary freedom fighter.
