Aryan Khan case: After Ananya, Chunky Panday’s brother summoned by Mumbai Police

In a major development in the cruise drug case that involved Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, Chunky Panday’s brother Chikki Panday has been summoned by Mumbai Police Special Enquiry Team (SET) to record his statement.

Earlier, Chunky’s daughter Ananya Panday was also summoned by the NCB for questioning, about three times, on the basis of two-year-old WhatsApp chats found on Aryan’s phone. The ‘Student of The Year 2′ actress’ Mumbai’s home was also raided by the agency officials and her mobile and laptop were then seized.

As per the sources, earlier when Aryan Khan was arrested, the officials wanted to contact Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani. In the process, they reached a restaurateur in Mumbai who knew Chunky Panday’s brother. Apparently, Chikki Panday gave the officials the contact details of Pooja and her husband.

In the light of this connection, Mumbai Police reportedly summoned Chikki for questioning. However, the businessman contacted the Police in reply to inform them that he won’t be able to join the probe as he has been tested positive for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the team that recently took over the investigation from the NCB Mumbai zonal unit, once again, summoned Aryan Khan on the Cordelia cruise ship case on Sunday. The Delhi NCB SIT asked the star kid to appear before the agency for questioning. However, he skipped the Anti-Drug-Agency’s summon citing fever.
