New Delhi: Arijit Singh’s manager confirms that he is not making his comeback with ‘Awarapan 2’, he is just fulfilling old commitments.
Arijit Singh’s name popped up as the playback singer in Emraan Hashmi’s film track ‘Awarapan 2’ after his step down few months ago.
Awarapan 2 was his project that he had committed for before his retirement announcement.
Awarapan 2 playback singing is done by Arijit Singh, composed by Amaal Malik with lyrics by Rashmi Virag. The song is set to release on all the music streaming platforms on July 21.
This track marks reunion between Arijit Singh and the film producer Vishesh Bhatt. The last time they came together was during the Pal song from Jalebi film.
Awarapan 2 is directed by Nitin Kakkar, written by Bilal Siddiqui is set for August 21 release. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Disha Patani, Shabana Azmi, and Atul Kumar in key roles.
